Are you a librarian, interested to find out more about participation in elections, ways of organising the electoral processes and importance of active citizenship? CICDE Training Module ‘Libraries – Voter Information Space’ is the opportunity you are looking for!

The main purpose of the training is to inform about the modern methods of civic education and information that can be used as part of the daily activities and can transform a library in a genuine Information Point about elections and the electoral process.

During the workshops you will discuss and debate the specific electoral terminology and activities, law on elections organisation in the Republic of Moldova, system of electoral bodies, stakeholders participating in the organisation and conduct of elections and, most important, how to develop the civic and participatory spirit of young people and future voters, library users.

All training participants will have the opportunity to apply for GRANTS FOR LIBRARIANS Project provided by CICDE. 

The eight-hour training module of CICDE will be held on Zoom platform during two days in April, 2021. The exact dates will be communicated to the selected persons.
