CICDE Launches the 3rd Edition of the ‘Digest Electoral’ [Electoral Digest] Magazine on Electoral Analysis, Theory and Research.
Date: 14.07.2020

CICDE Launches the 3rd Edition of the ‘Digest Electoral’ [Electoral Digest] Magazine on Electoral Analysis, Theory and Research.

By editing and publishing the ‘Digest Electoral’ Magazine on Electoral Theory and Practice, CICDE aims to provide the public and the decision makers with high quality specialised scientific and practical articles. We believe the research of the national and international electoral processes is important in all regards, and we want to provide the interested ones with a platform required to share their ideas and analyses in the field.

You can now check out the 3rd edition of the magazine in digital format. The edition is dedicated to alternative voting methods. The subject is more than topical in the context of challenges to the electoral process caused by the coronavirus pandemic faced by the entire world. Given that the physical presence in the polling station could endanger the voters’ health, the specialists and politicians are focused on other ways to express the political option. The authors of the articles in this edition – holders of Master’s and PhD degrees, trainers in the electoral field – have researched and presented the characteristics, pros and cons, as well as the international practice of using various voting methods.

We hope that the articles published in the ‘Digest Electoral’ Magazine on Electoral Analysis, Theory and Research will enhance your knowledge about the electoral process. Enjoy the read!

We would like to remind you that the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE) founded the ‘Digest Electoral’ Magazine on Electoral Analysis, Theory and Research in 2017.  In 2019 the magazine was registered with the National Book Chamber of the Republic of Moldova as a biannual publication containing specialist articles in the electoral field.
