CICDE Nominated the Winners of the Electoral Vlogging Contest

During 18 March – 17 April 2020, the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training organised an electoral vlogging contest for children aged 7-11 years.

The conditions of the electoral vlogging contest were very simple – children had to record a video (1.5-3 minutes) where they talk to one of their parents, perform or improvise any other creative activity on the basis of the information they read in the ‘Arci at the Polling Station’ magazine.

Nine participants applied for contest and the best and original videos will get prizes: power banks, thermoses with CICDE logo and, of course, Arci stuffed toys and comic books.

According to the conditions of the contest, the videos had to be of high quality, last as indicated above, be uploaded to YouTube or published on the Facebook page of one of the parents under the hashtag #ConcursCICDE.

According to the score awarded by the contest committee, the following competitors won the first, the second and the third place. The remaining participants will be awarded certificates as per the nomination below.

By taking part in CICDE’s electoral vlogging contest, the nine participants got a seat in the first row during the launching event of the second edition of the Electoral Comic Book. The launch will take place in early June, and the prizes and participation certificates will awarded during a public event. The details are to be later communicated to the participants and the general public.

*The contest committee accepted to nominate Iovu Mira for the most original electoral debut, given that she does not meet the above-mentioned conditions.

The Centre for Continuous Electoral Training under the Central Electoral Commission, represented by the Dr. Doina Bordeianu and the ‘Stefan cel Mare’ Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, represented by Dr. Dinu Ostavciuc, agreed to sign a Cooperation Agreement on the development and implementation of study programmes, specialised trainings and joint activities in the electoral field, security and integrity of the electoral process, and development of electoral culture. Centre for Continuous Electoral Training under the Central Electoral Commission launches an open call for the people that want to become trainers in the electoral field. Selected people will be trained and assessed by CICDE.
