The UK continues to support inclusive and transparent elections in the Republic of Moldova with a new funding of USD 910,900. The funds are provided by UNDP under the project ‘Enhancing democracy in Moldova through inclusive and transparent elections’ and will allow for extensive democratic education campaigns as well as for promoting participation in elections, especially for under-represented groups.

The official website of the CICDE is an IT solution, the main objective of which is to ensure the transparency of the activity of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training by efficiently disseminating information of public interest, remote training and civic education of electoral officials and other electoral stakeholders and offering continuous training and civic education services to different categories of beneficiaries.

The seventh edition of the election-themed intellectual game "What? Where? When?" brought together nine teams of young people from Chișinău, Anenii Noi, Călărași and Strășeni. The event was organised on 5 November 2022 by the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE), with the support of UNDP Moldova, under the ‘Enhancing democracy in Moldova through inclusive and transparent elections’ Project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

‘Archie and the Forest Council’ – the first election-themed children's book, created at the initiative and with the contribution of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE) was launched on 27 October 2022 in Chișinău. The book is authored by writer Ionela Hadârcă and visual artist Lică Sainciuc and was produced under the ‘Enhancing democracy in Moldova through inclusive and transparent elections’ Project, implemented by UNDP Moldova and funded by USAID.

The first edition of the election-themed painting competition VotART Junior 2022, organised by the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE) in partnership with the School of Fine Arts ‘Alexei Șciusev’, with the support of UNDP Moldova has come to an end. The competition lasted one week, from 15 to 22 October 2022, during which 25 young artists from art schools and art classes from all over the country gathered their creative energy to portray democracy and elections on canvas.

Students from several education institutions across the country learned about electing Student Councils and the four dimensions of elections
During one week, between 10 and 14 October, young men and women from education institutions from Chișinău municipality, Strășeni city, Bălăurești village (Nisporeni district), Mălăeștii Noi village (Criuleni district) learned and applied democracy.
