On 3-7 March 2014, a delegation composed of Dr Doina Bordeianu, Deputy Director of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE) under the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Mrs Cristina Cucurudza, senior coordinating specialist and methodologist, CICDE and Mr Corneliu Pasat, deputy head of the Communication, Public Relations and Mass Media Department of CEC took part in the International Election Management Seminar conducted in Mexico City, Mexico. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Georgia hosted the 4th Annual Meeting of Election Management Bodies, organized in collaboration with the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS), represented by Matt Gokhool, its Executive Director, who was the moderator of the first workshop. The conference was attended by representatives of electoral administration from 15 countries, along with representatives of various international organizations. The event took place on 24-26 February, with the main subject “Stakeholder Engagement and Effective Communication.” Read more...
