„Simulation of the Voting Process” workshop
Date: 10.07.2017

Together with participants of the Summer School of Intellectual Games, we have demonstrated that "Democracy can be learned!".

On Friday, July 7, 50 young people aged between 15 to 20 years have participated in the „Simulation of the Voting Process” workshop. The participants played both, the roles of the electoral officials and of the voters, being placed in different situations specific to the Election Day.

At the same time, CICDE representatives prepared the presentation "A day in the life of an electoral officer", explaining the complexity of the electoral process. Participants understood that it takes a lot of effort from Electoral Management Bodies to create all necessary conditions for everyone to vote on the Election Day.

Young people also had the opportunity to address questions to the CICDE representatives and through this learn more about the specific aspects of the electoral process.

The workshop took place in frames of the Summer School of Intellectual Games, organized by the Moldovan Club of Intellectual Games at the F'ESTIVAL Recreation and Creation Center in Leordoaia Village, Calarasi.
